# Software & tools

> Code, models, and tools developed in the Land System Sustainability Lab.

Tools developed in the lab are released openly where possible, with the aim that analyses can be
reproduced and reused.

## Software we use and contribute to

The lab's day-to-day stack is listed under [Data & methods](/en/research/methods). Where we extend
existing open-source geospatial tools, we contribute fixes upstream rather than maintaining forks.
